Petra Jasmiina is a singer-songwriter and producer originally from Finland, currently living in New York City. Her poetic pop-folk, blending cinematic Nordic nostalgia with catchy pop hooks, sounds like “if Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey met in a Nordic forest”. Since her arrival in NYC 2015, Petra has performed at various legendary venues such as Pete’s Candy Store and Laurie Beechman and Triad Theatres, as well as esteemed cultural centres like NY Estonian House, Scandinavia House and the United Nations.

Via her production company Petrafied she is also known for her visual storytelling; her 2022 music video “Naive” gained wide international praise and accolades incl. "Best Pop Music Video" at Europe Music Awards and "Platinum Video" at MUSE Creative Awards.

Besides her own music Petra is involved in several creative projects, such as Broadway-headed musical works Kalevala The Musical and Tales of Les Dames Blanches. She is also the founder of Nordic Artists of New York (NANY).
