This is one of my favourite songs I've ever written. I'm immensely proud of its poetic lyrics that paint such a visceral world around them, one of a balmy summer city with delicious duality between soft and dark, romantic and brutal, heavenly and hellish, just like a whirlwind summer romance with an inevitable ending. I wrote, recorded and produced this track myself. I hope it takes you places.
